Swain Photo Contest Terms & Conditions
- All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
- The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame.
- Photo submissions must be taken on or of Swain property.
- Submissions will be accepted through March 15. Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
- Photos will be accepted through Facebook and Instagram. Entrants will be asked to provide their phone number and email address via instant messenger in case they are chosen as a winner.
- Email addresses provided may be shared for Swain promotional purposes only. Swain does not sell or rent email lists. Your privacy is important.
- Photo likes, comments and shares will account for 80% of final vote.
- The judges decision is final. Swain reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
- Winner will be announced on March 20 on Facebook and Instagram. Winner will also be contacted via email and/or phone.
- If winner does not claim prize by March 27, second runner up will be chosen.
- By submitting photos into the Swain Photo Contest, you waive all rights and ownership to photo credit. You agree to allow Swain to use your photo submissions in marketing materials, social media and any other collateral.
- By participating in the Swain Photo Contest you indicate your agreement with these terms and conditions.
- Violators will be removed from the contest, stripped of any prize(s), and banned from entering future contests.
- The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- This contest is in no way sponsored or endorsed by Facebook or Instagram and is affiliated only with Swain Resort.
