Path of Totality

Swain is located directly in the path of totality, making our resort a great option for your Solar Eclipse viewing event choice!

It’s important to do your research on your location of choice during the Total Solar Eclipse. Even a location at 99% totality will have a completely different experience than the people who attended an event 100% in the path of totality.
 

Lift Ride to and from the top of the mountain!

Tickets include a lift ride to and from summit and glasses! Don’t forget your lawn chair and boots! 
Adult – $15
Child – $10
Eclipse Glasses are free to the first 300 pre-registered attendees. 
Summit will likely be muddy and may have snow as well. Please dress accordingly. 

There is no charge for anyone who wants to watch the eclipse from the base of the mountain. Glasses will be available for $2.

Pre-registration and a signed waiver is required for all participants riding the lift. A parent/guardian must sign for anyone under the age of 18.
