Swain ResortSwain ResortLearn to ski or snowboard right in Monroe County! Swain Resort and Monroe County have once again teamed up at Powder Mills Park to bring you holiday camps, classes, and open skiing, dedicated to teaching you and your children how to ski or board.
Powder Mills Park is a natural gem located in Pittsford NY. At 380 acres, Powder Mills Park offers a unique setting with a gradual slope accessed by a single rope tow, an on-site lodge, rental equipment, and experienced ski and snowboard instructors ready to teach you the fundamental skills you’ll enjoy for a lifetime!
For skiers ages 6 to 17 and boarders ages 8 to 17.
Get the kids out of the house and onto the hill this school break with our one-day and two-day camps! They’ll have a blast improving their skills, making new friends, and enjoying winter fun!
Camps include lift tickets and all day instruction each camp day. Sign your child up for one camp or all of them! Rentals are not included but are available for an added fee.
Classes and camps are held rain or shine and in the cold. Closing will be announced on Powder Mills Facebook page.
For skiers ages 6 & up and boarders ages 8 & up.
Start small, dream big! The Powder Package is designed for kids who are ready to build real skiing or snowboarding skills in a fun group setting. Lessons take place on our easy-to-manage hill with a tow rope—perfect for learning the basics. Then, with the included Swain Resort voucher pack, kids can take their new skills to the big slopes with chairlifts and 35 trails ranging from beginner to advanced!
Each package comes with an all day lift pass plus an additional voucher pack redeemable at Swain Resort with over $600 in value!
Get ready for snowy fun! Each session includes three 30-minute classes designed just for little skiers (ages 4-6). Sign up for one session or join us for more to keep the adventure going!
