Swain ResortSwain ResortLearn to ski or snowboard right in Monroe County! Swain Resort and Monroe County have once again teamed up at Northampton Park to bring you holiday camps, classes, and open skiing, dedicated to teaching you and your children how to ski or board.
Northampton park is a 973-acre park located in beautiful Brockport NY on Salmon Creek. Featuring an enclosed ski lodge, equipped with picnic tables, restrooms, and a wood-burning stove to keep you warm after hitting the terrain park. Northampton has a single tow rope to access the slope and a variety of terrain park features throughout.
For skiers ages 6 to 17 and boarders ages 8 to 17.
Get the kids out of the house and onto the hill this school break with our one-day and two-day camps! They’ll have a blast improving their skills, making new friends, and enjoying winter fun!
Camps include lift tickets and all day instruction each camp day. Sign your child up for one camp or all of them! Rentals are not included but are available for an added fee.
Classes and camps are held rain or shine and in the cold. Closing will be announced on Northampton Park Facebook page.

Enroll in our Powder Package lesson program exclusively through Northampton Park. The first 3 lessons are at Northampton Park on a specific day of the week. The 4th & final lesson will take place at Swain Resort, during one of their regular lesson times. Each package comes with all day lift pass plus an additional voucher pack redeemable at Swain Resort with over $600 in value!
We offer 60 minute private and group lessons for skiers and snowboarders on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There are limited slots available so make sure to book ahead! To ensure adequate instructor staffing, 24 hours advanced registration is recommended.
