Status: Seasonal / Part-Time (depending on needs)
Pay Rate Range: $15.50–$17.50
Availability Limits: Weekend and holiday availability required
Position Summary
The Ticketing & Guest Services Staff at Powder Mills Park is responsible for providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service to guests purchasing lift tickets, rentals, lesson products, and other ski area services. As the first point of contact for guests, this position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth, positive, and welcoming experience at the ski area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a professional and approachable manner.
- Accurately process sales for lift tickets, rentals, and lesson products using the park’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and card transactions responsibly and assist with end-of-shift balancing.
- Provide clear information about products, pricing, schedules, and general ski area operations.
- Assist guests with ticket pickup, changes, or issues as needed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the ticketing and guest services area.
- Communicate effectively with the Assistant Manager, Rentals, and instructional staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow all county safety, liability, and confidentiality procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and end-of-day procedures as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to process transactions accurately.
- Friendly, professional, and team-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
