About Dirt Turtles
Dirt Turtles is a high-energy honky-tonk band from Western New York. They play a mix of folk, blues, old-timey and outlaw country. This group is quickly establishing themselves as a “must-see act” with smooth harmonies, twangy groove, and tasteful jams. The band is led vocally by Daniel McMahon and Sam Warren, literal blood relatives and lifelong friends. In the summer of 2024, they found a rhythm section straight outta heaven and Dirt Turtles was created. Roger Barnes is a bass player originally from Andover, but his music has graced folks all across the globe. This is far from his first rodeo, as he opened for Johnny Paycheck back in 1993. Expect to dance, laugh, and try to fight the irresistible urge to crawl in the dirt with the rest of the turtlesā¦š¢
