Status: Seasonal / Full-Time / Part-Time (depending on needs)
Pay Rate Range: $15.50-$17.50
Position Summary
The Phone Attendant at Swain Resort is responsible for providing courteous, accurate, and efficient service to guests calling the resort. This position handles ticketing inquiries, rental questions, lesson scheduling, and general resort information while representing Swain Resort in a professional and helpful manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing guest questions and concerns.
- Provide information about lift tickets, season passes, rentals, lessons, and resort policies.
- Assist guests with reservations, ticket purchases, and account inquiries via phone.
- Record accurate messages, information, and requests, forwarding to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort events, promotions, and operations.
- Handle guest issues or complaints calmly and escalate to supervisors as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Support other Ticketing or Guest Services staff as needed during peak times.
- Follow all safety, privacy, and confidentiality procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, call center, or ticketing experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to accurately record information.
- Friendly, professional, and patient attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods.
